grace

i wrote this one tonight...its based off of "ragamuffin gospel" by brennan manning...if you havent read this book, go read it...

"grace"
over the years
i've been taught
who i should be
and how i should act

but no matter what
i know that You
take me as i am
and not as i should be

you shed your grace
all over me
for no other reason
than just because

no matter how i am
or what i do
there You are waiting for me
running to me with arms wide open
